CHAPLAIN
Michael Hall, serves primarily in Asheville, North Carolina but has a love for the area and is respected throughout the Western Region. Change Agent Micheal is a seasoned professional, a mentor, and role model with a diverse background. With extensive experience in many areas, Michael brings a comprehensive skill set to his roles in leadership, youth mentoring, and most recently as Chaplain with Operation Gateway. Holding a Certification as a Peer Support Specialist from Vaya Health, Micheal uses his knowledge of the hospital/healthcare industry and what it takes to build and maintain a home to support those facing the challenges of reentry. Michael has excelled in various positions, including serving as the fo mer Program Director for My Daddy Taught Me That, overseeing fatherhood and youth coaching programs, and as the Owner of Washed By the Water LLC, specializing in property maintenance services.
Michael continues to be deeply involved in community initiatives that bridge gaps, erase disparities and celebrate diversity.
Additionally, he is the founder of Be More Alive, a Men's Enrichment Initiative, where he focuses on empowering and enriching the lives of men. His multi collaborative approach to assisting individuals transitioning from incarceration back into society, starts with a strong foundation in the community and family, that allows people the space to repair their hearts and their homes.
With a strong foundation in healthcare and social work, coupled with his leadership skills and certifications, Michael continues to make a significant impact in his community, providing crucial support and guidance for those he serves, while actively contributing to the betterment of society. “I am the evidence”- his lived experiences, integrity, and dedication are helping change the lives of those often overlooked in marginalized communities throughout the region.
